Jim Eisenhart is President of the Ventura Consulting Group. His current focus is upon enabling challenged or ‘problem’ construction projects achieve extraordinary success on the balance of their project — with no excuses. As a partnering facilitator since 1990, Jim has facilitated partnering processes on over 1000 projects worldwide. These range from a NATO missile facility in Poland, the San Francisco Bay Bridge, over 30 transit projects with a 10 different transit agencies to a copper mine in Peru. In 2012 he was the inaugural recipient of the International Partnering Institutes “Excellence in Partnering Facilitation Award” given for workshop facilitation and industry leadership. Jim authored the book “Raising the Bar on Construction Project Teamwork: From Good to World Class” and has presented on this subject to AGC, DBIA, and general contractors and owners from Dubai to Veterans Administration managers in Maryland. In December of 2016, he published “Turning the Problem Construction Project into an Extraordinary Success”, Force10 Press.
Jim received his MBA from UCLA and has taught ‘Strategic Planning’ at both Pepperdine’s and California Lutheran’s MBA programs. He served in the US Army in South Vietnam as an armored cavalry platoon leader and troop XO. He currently enjoys sailing, skiing and trail running.

Mr. Crotty serves as a Master Facilitator, Large Program Director and oversees the firm’s East Coast and International Operations. He specializes in developing and enhancing the effective collaboration of human systems, (aligning and empowering teams to produce results with efficiency and momentum).
Mr. Crotty has applied this specialization with hundreds of project teams world-wide for over 18 years. With an adept ability to push past personalities, zero in on underlying issues, and uncover unrealized opportunities, he has a proven track record of coordinating commitments from various stakeholders and creating truly World Class teams, which produce measurable program and project results.
Mr. Crotty has designed and facilitated a formal partnering process for several hundred projects, ranging in size and complexity from simple road-widening projects to international offshore gas storage projects. He supports both public and private projects in almost every market sector. Mr. Crotty’s clients include NAVFAC, USACE, GSA, VA, Intel, the Cities of Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Houston, Broward County, various health systems, DOT’s, airports, and many more.
Previously, Mr. Crotty served as an associate pastor of a large church, where he spent some of his time leading teams overseas. He also led up to 360 Marines both stateside and in foreign countries, first as an infantry platoon commander then a company commander with the US Marine Corps. Working with diverse teams in over 27 countries, Mr. Crotty has developed the ability to adapt quickly, see the big picture and accomplish the mission through the coordinated efforts of his teams.
Mr. Crotty graduated Cum Laude from Pepperdine University and is based in Houston, with his wife, two sons and dog. He enjoys spending time with his family, going to his sons’ sporting events and reading.
Mr. Crotty is certified as a Master Level Facilitator by the International Partnering Institute.
Neal Flesner brings more than 20 years of organizational development and consulting experience to VCG. Recognized as a Master Partnering Facilitator by the International Partnering Institute, Neal has worked with project teams across the country and around the world. Neal is a proficient problem solver and communicator who excels in the development and application of management principles, practices and methodologies. Neal’s expertise and knowledge allows him to successfully manage projects from concept through planning, implementation, and review. This essential experience helps him to ensure proper communication and teamwork among project stakeholders. Neal is consistently recognized for his ability to employ critical and creative thinking processes to facilitate mutually beneficial business decisions.
Neal is an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council, the Associated General Contractors of America, The Southern California Chapter of the Construction Management Association of America and The International Partnering Institute. Neal’s client list includes: NAVFAC, USACE, Caltrans, The Nevada Department of Transportation, The University of California Systems, The University of Maryland, Los Angeles Unified School District, The US Bureau of Water Reclamation and many more. In addition, Neal has consulted for many global companies which include: Anheuser-Busch, The Coca-Cola Company, Bank of America, Pepsi Co., GMAC Financial Services, Sara Lee Foods, Toyota, Adidas, ADT, Anschutz Entertainment Group, The Los Angeles Galaxy, The Los Angeles Kings and the United States Olympic Committee.
Neal received his MBA from the Charles Lundquist School of Business at the University of Oregon and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Missouri.
In his free time, Neal enjoys running, golfing, mountain biking, SCUBA diving, photography and music.

Ms. Hughes serves as Operations Coordinator for Ventura Consulting Group. Ms. Hughes works to ensure workshop logistics that support project teams. Ms. Hughes is the client’s go-to source for workshop scheduling, locations, conference planning participant notification and any post workshop communications. Ms. Hughes also directs client billing, travel and internal accounting at VCG. Prior to her current position, Ms. Hughes served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a Radisson Suites Hotels.
Natalie serves as the Executive Assistant to Neal Flesner. Ms. Black has over 7 years of administrative experience she brings to the team. Natalie assists on special projects such as Partnering Awards, client relationship management, marketing, and meeting design. Natalie provides technical and logistical support for multiple projects, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
Mr. Smith is an analyst at Ventura Consulting Group since 2012. Mr. Smith works to ensure online surveys that support project teams from “Good to World Class”. Mr. Smith’s role in Ventura Consulting Group is uploading new leads and handling day to day activity of monthly surveys including scheduling, sending surveys, collecting responses from the project team and providing results to the project team.
Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2005 and worked as a Sr. Customer Service Executive and Team Leader prior to working at Ventura Consulting Group. In his spare time he loves to read books and play football.
